I was born in Krakow. After graduating with a bachelor degree in Film and TV Production at the Kieslowski School in 2005, I spent over a decade working as a director, 1AD, DOP and in the camera department in Poland, US, and Peru, crafting film projects that are both socially conscious and creatively challenging. Today I live between Peru and Poland.
I’m a co-founder of the Peruvian production company Watay Misita, which I founded in Puno in 2020 together with Ximena Málaga Sabogal. I’m an alum of the Feature Film Development Lab program and Script Writing program at Wajda School (Warsaw). I work as a lecturer at the Summer Filmmaking Academy at the University of the National Education Commission (Krakow).
I believe that the combination of good craft, technical skills and creativity results in telling stories that can move mountains. I’m fascinated by the influence of cinema on our culture and everyday life. I seek collaborations that expand my visual storytelling and narrative techniques.
